Alicia Bolton is the President & CEO of OutsourceHR. She works to align organizational objectives while incorporating her skills in HR thought leadership. Her talent lies in building HR best practices that drive business results and improve the overall bottom line. She has a unique and creative approach to every day development points that exist in any business and industry. Alicia assists in achieving people and cultural outcomes as defined by her client’s shareholders and executive team. She truly believes that HR has the ability to transform a business improving its overall liability as an employer as well as the morale, well being and commitment of its team. Alicia has built or helped rebuild in house and/or virtual Human Resources departments for many organizations that she has worked with. Her client portfolio represents start-ups to some of the largest, most progressive and fastest growing companies in the country. She has experience working with challenging industries such as Law, Professional Services, Health Care, Pharmaceuticals, Oil & Gas, Government, Education, Communications, Banking, Insurance, Transportation, Cannabis, Retail, Not for Profit, Hospitality, and Construction representing a variety of cultural, small business, union/non-union and global environments. She has had the fortune of being mentored by some of the most talented and well versed HR leaders from all areas of the globe. She has over 20 years of volunteering experience including 3 years sitting on the board at the Human Resources Association of Calgary and 8 years being a registered SME with the Canadian Payroll Association which includes member mentorship and annual reviews of the curriculum for the PCP and CPM designation. She is a registered with the CPHR Alberta and was recently nominated to the board of directors for the CPA. Her short term goal is to write two business books, one focused on magnetic leadership and the second with a focus on promoting a team oriented and collaborative working environment.
